  • Learning activities that enhance online interaction between instructors and learnints, as well as among learners themselves
  • MOOCs offer free access to lectures from prestigious universities worldwide, allowing students to learn anytime and anywhere(with certificate available)

KOOC
  • KAIST's self-developed open knowledge donation channel for the public (courses released in 2016)
  • Starting with five courses in 2016, we have now developed and operate over 70 courses

STAR-MOOC
  • Online open lecture service in science and technology jointly offered by four science and technology institutes—KAIST, GIST, DGIST, and UNIST—along with POSTECH and UST
  • In 2017, the STAR-MOOC Working Group was formed, leading to the platform launch in 2018 (KAIST participated in STAR-MOOC as KOOC and the leader of STAR-MOOC Working Group)
